You can’t run a successful inbound agency without a great team. As agencies, our rate limiting factor is our people. To grow, we need to be able to optimize their outputs. This means having the right people in the right seats.
But this isn’t a simple task. It can feel overwhelming to a young agency just getting started. It can feel like you’re too late if you’re an agency that has already started hiring, but made some mistakes.
Don’t worry, it is never too early or too late to start thinking about your agency culture.
Before you start hiring people, there are two things you must do:
- Spend time defining your agency core values.
- Craft an organizational chart with clearly defined roles and job descriptions.
In this episode, Gray and I chat about the process we followed when creating our core values here at DoInbound. We walk through the process you can follow to put a plan in place to build your dream team. Enjoy!
